Susie Desbrow is a British‑Canadian artist who grew up in London, England and immigrated to Canada with her family in 2008. She is an interior designer with a lifelong passion for art, a published children’s book illustrator, and has been commissioned to create several original works.

Susie has also served as an Artist in Residence at a local school, sharing her creative process and inspiring young artists. Her grandfather was Métis, and that heritage has deepened her desire to connect with the land through her artwork. This connection guides the way she observes landscapes, light, and natural forms, and it shapes her commitment to honouring the spirit and stories held within the places she paints.

Inspired by the limitless beauty of western Canada, its mountains, rivers, forests, and skies, as well as the elegance found in architectural forms, Susie works primarily with acrylics to create expressive landscape paintings that celebrate both nature and the spaces we build within it.
